Target Information
ATAD5 is involved in the DNA damage response and participates in a RAD9A-related damage checkpoint pathway, which determines whether DNA damage allows cell survival or requires apoptosis. It modulates the RAD9A interaction with BCL2, thereby inducing DNA damage–induced apoptosis.
