Product Specific Information

Alexa Fluor™ Plus recombinant antibodies utilize proprietary dye chemistry for enhanced brightness and improved signal-to-noise ratio compared to traditional Alexa Fluor conjugates.
These recombinant antibodies ensure better specificity and lot-to-lot consistency through gene cloning and in vitro expression.

Usage Note:
Before use, briefly centrifuge the conjugate solution and use only the supernatant to minimize nonspecific background staining.

Applications Tested:

• Immunohistochemistry on mouse spleen tissue
• Immunocytochemistry and flow cytometry on HeLa cells
  Recommended usage for flow cytometry: 0.02–0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
  Careful titration is advised for optimal assay performance.

Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle. It associates with euchromatin and plays a key role in cellular proliferation, absent in G0 cells.
Ki-67 antibodies are widely used as proliferation markers and have prognostic value in tumor grading, correlating with low Ki-67 index and low-grade histology.
Commonly applied as a neuronal marker for cell cycling and proliferation studies.
