Target Information
MARK3 is a member of a group of kinases that regulate cell polarity via phosphorylation of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs). The MARK3 protein is activated by phosphorylation and is involved in the phosphorylation of tau proteins MAP2 and MAP4. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
