Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody PD7/26 recognizes CD45RB, an isoform of the Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA, CD45).
CD45RB is a protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor expressed on most hematopoietic cells but absent from non-hematopoietic cells.
Its expression is more restricted than CD45, found on T cell subsets, B, NK, and myeloid cells. Regulatory T cells (Tregs) express low CD45RB levels, correlating with increased migration to infection sites. High CD45RB expression induces IL-2 and IFN-γ production instead of IL-4 in vitro.

CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells, involved in immunoreceptor signaling and apoptosis.
CD45 is expressed on all human hematopoietic cells except mature red blood cells.
