The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
WFS1 is a component of Wolfram syndrome, a rare juvenile diabetes form. It plays a key role in maintaining endoplasmic reticulum (ER) homeostasis in the pancreas. Normally upregulated during insulin secretion, WFS1 inactivation can cause ER stress. Chronic ER stress is implicated in Wolfram syndrome.
