Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA). This 35–50 kDa molecule is anchored in the plasma membrane via phosphatidylinositol and is expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes and myeloid lineage. It has been reported that P-selectin (CD62P) binds to CD24.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Use at 5 µL (0.4 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining with NovaFluor conjugates.
• Add 5 µL of CellBlox Plus per sample before combining with cells.
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample.

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology, based on nucleic acid dye structures engineered for optimized fluorescence and minimized spillover.

Target Information

CD24 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells to mature B cells. Plasma cell expression is low or negative. CD24 is also found in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity.
