Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD24 (Heat Stable Antigen, HSA), a 35–50 kDa GPI-anchored membrane protein expressed on erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage cells. CD24 has been reported to bind P-selectin (CD62P).

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.4 µg) per 100 µL test volume. Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) must be used for optimal staining.
  • Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails before combining with cells.
  • For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell suspension.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B to mature B-cells, but low or absent in plasma cells. It is also found in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. CD24 may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity control.
