Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA). This 35–50 kDa molecule is anchored in the plasma membrane via phosphatidylinositol and is expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage. It has been reported that P-selectin (CD62P) binds to CD24.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

NovaFluor dyes compatibility:
NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assays.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer usage:

• Add 5 µL per sample for optimal staining.
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample containing 10³–10⁸ cells.
• Add to antibody cocktails before combining with cells.

Technology:
NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology with engineered fluorescent signatures optimized for minimal spillover and spread.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells to mature surface Ig-positive B cells. Plasma cell expression is low or negative. CD24 is also expressed in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity.
