Reconstitute the lyophilized powder with deionized water (or equivalent) to an antibody concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
Well-characterized antibodies for epitope tags consisting of short sequences have been widely used in protein expression studies.
The NWSHPQFEK, a nine-amino acid peptide capable of binding to the biotin pocket of streptavidin, was engineered.
Rabbit anti-NWSHPQFEK polyclonal antibody is developed in rabbit using a synthetic NWSHPQFEK peptide conjugated to KLH.
This polyclonal antibody is highly purified by immunoaffinity chromatography and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Suitable for detecting fusion proteins containing NWSHPQFEK.

Target Information

The Strep-tag II is an eight-residue minimal peptide sequence (Trp-Ser-His-Pro-Gln-Phe-Glu-Lys) that exhibits intrinsic affinity toward streptavidin and can be fused to recombinant proteins in various fashions.
The original Strep-tag was a nine-amino-acid peptide with high specificity and affinity toward streptavidin, allowing simple purification of proteins via affinity columns but limited to C-terminal fusion.
To enable placement at the N-terminus of recombinant proteins, it was re-engineered and renamed Strep-tag II.
