Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse TSLP and recombinant human TSLP R is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
TSLP is a 159 amino acid four-helix bundle hemopoietic cytokine that signals through a heterodimeric receptor complex consisting of the human TSLP receptor and the IL-7R alpha-chain. It affects myeloid cells, induces T cell-attracting chemokine release from monocytes, enhances dendritic cell maturation, and promotes differentiation of naive CD4(+) and CD8(+) T cells into proallergic effectors.
TSLP also primes dendritic cells to produce IL-12 after CD40 ligand stimulation, regulates Treg selection and CD4(+) T cell homeostasis, and induces allergic inflammation by activating mast cells. It may be involved in inflammatory arthritis and is expressed in heart, liver, and prostate.
