Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody is shipped as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer periods, store aliquots at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
CCKBR is a G-protein coupled receptor for gastrin and cholecystokinin (CCK), regulatory peptides of the brain and gastrointestinal tract.
This protein is a type B gastrin receptor with high affinity for both sulfated and nonsulfated CCK analogs and is found mainly in the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract.
A misspliced transcript variant including an intron has been observed in cells from colorectal and pancreatic tumors.
CCKBR expression has been reported in brain, colon, pancreas, stomach, thyroid, and various cancers.
