Product Specific Information

The eBioA1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD39 (ENTPD1 or NTPDase).
CD39 is an integral membrane protein functioning as an ectoenzyme that removes extracellular ATP by converting it to ADP or AMP. It forms a homotetramer and is expressed on lymphocytes, subsets of T and B cells, dendritic cells, and weakly on monocytes and granulocytes.

CD39 and CD73 are co-expressed on regulatory T cells (Treg), facilitating their migration to inflamed areas. Expression on Foxp3+CD4+ cells ranges from 25–45%.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.6 µg) per test (100 µL total volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Compatibility Note:
NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains instead.

Buffer Recommendation:
Use CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) for optimal staining.
Add 5 µL per sample before combining antibody cocktails with cells.
For single-color controls, add 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology based on nucleic acid dye structures for engineered fluorescence with minimal spillover and spread.

Target Information

CD39 is a 70–100 kDa cell surface antigen expressed on peripheral blood B cells, monocytes, T cell clones, and weakly on granulocytes. It possesses ecto-ATPase activity and acts as a late activation antigen on T and B cells.
