Product Specific Information

The AER-37 monoclonal antibody reacts with the Fc epsilon RI alpha subunit, an IgE-binding subunit lacking signal-transducing ability. FcεRI alpha is expressed on mast and basophil cells and is upregulated by IgE presence. It forms a tetrameric complex with one beta and two gamma subunits, which contain ITAM motifs. The FcεRI complex triggers IgE-mediated allergic reactions.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested for flow cytometry of peripheral blood cells. Use 5 µL (0.4 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Compatibility Note:
NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI). Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains with NovaFluor dyes.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01):
Required for optimal staining. Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails before combining with cells. For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

This mechanism underlies inflammatory reactions in conditions like hay fever and asthma.
