Product Specific Information
This antibody reacts to Histone H3 acetylated at Lysine 36 (K36ac), unaffected by phosphorylation at neighboring Ser31.
No cross-reactivity with other acetylated lysines in histone H3.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with four core histone proteins, it forms the nucleosome structure.
Histones play central roles in transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability. The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes various post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influencing chromatin structure and gene expression.
