Target Information
SERPINA3는 Alpha 1-ACT를 암호화하며, 초기 급성기 혈장 단백질로서 chymotrypsin, cathepsin G, chymase를 선택적으로 불활성화하는 serpin입니다. Alpha-1-ACT는 Alzheimer’s disease(AD) 및 정상 노화된 인간과 원숭이 뇌의 아밀로이드 플라크와 밀접하게 연관되어 있으며, serine protease 및 그 억제제의 조절은 신경근육 분화에 중요한 역할을 합니다. Prostate specific antigen (PSA)은 chymotrypsin 유사 serine protease로서 Alpha-1-ACT와 주로 복합체를 형성합니다.
