Product Specific Information
Description:
The N418 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD11c (integrin alphaX). CD11c associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer, expressed by dendritic cells, intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes, and some activated T cells. It binds CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen, mediating leukocyte adhesion. N418 binds CD11c on splenic dendritic cells and precipitates a 150/90 kDa heterodimer.
Applications Reported:
Used for flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes.
Applications Tested:
Validated for flow cytometry at ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume; 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimal titration recommended.

<0.001 ng/µg antibody (LAL assay).
Storage and Handling:
Use in sterile environment.

CD11 and CD18 form heterodimer adhesion molecules.
- CD11a: Expressed in B/T lymphocytes, macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils.
- CD11b: Expressed by monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some B/T cells, granulocytes.
- CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and subsets of lymphocytes.
