They combine multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, offering higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability seen in traditional polyclonal antibodies.

Target Information
Matrix metallopeptidase 16 (MMP-16) plays a role during embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling. It is involved in extracellular matrix degradation processes associated with arthritis and metastasis. In humans, MMP-16 is part of a cluster of MMP genes at the 11q22.3 locus.
