Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
SIRP beta 1 is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the SIRP family within the immunoglobulin superfamily. Members of this family possess an extracellular region containing a V-set Ig domain with a J-like sequence and two C1-set Ig domains. Unlike SIRP alpha, which has cytoplasmic ITIM domains, SIRP beta 1 contains positively charged residues that enable association with ITAM motif-containing adaptor molecules. It is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells.
