Target Information
THRAP3 is a 955 amino acid nuclear receptor-associated protein and a member of the Thyroid Hormone Receptor Associated Proteins (TRAP) complex.
It contains a LISH domain and functions as a 150 kDa subunit within the large multiprotein TRAP complex.
THRAP3 plays a key role in maintaining the structure of the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component in the nucleolus and is involved in transcriptional coactivation.
It interacts with DKC1, NOP5/NAP65, and fibrillarin.
Northern blot analysis indicates that TRAP150 is ubiquitously expressed across human tissues.
