- Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water.
- After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4°C in the dark.
- For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
- Mouse anti-Human CD59 antibody (clone MEM-43) recognizes CD59, a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane protein also known as membrane attack complex inhibition factor.
Target Information
CD59 (Protectin)은 18–20 kDa 크기의 GPI-결합 단백질로, 보체막공격복합체(MAC)를 억제하여 자가세포를 보호합니다. C5b-8 복합체와 결합하여 세포막 내 용해성 구멍 형성을 방지하며, CD2의 저친화성 리간드로 T 세포 공동자극 및 신호전달에 관여합니다. CD59 유전자의 돌연변이는 용혈성 빈혈, 혈전증, 뇌경색 등의 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다. 여러 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이가 보고되어 있습니다.
