Target Information

ERp72 is an endoplasmic reticulum luminal protein that functions as both a stress protein and a member of the protein disulfide isomerase family. It shares sequence identity with PDI at three regions and contains the ER retention signal KEEL at its C-terminus. ERp72 has three CGHC-containing active sites involved in protein disulfide isomerization, suggesting its role as a molecular chaperone within the CGHC-containing protein family.
