Target Information
Hepatocyte nuclear factor 4 alpha (HNF4α)는 orphan nuclear receptor로, 간, 신장, 장, 췌장에서 발현됩니다. 인간에서 HNF4α의 돌연변이는 성인 발병형 당뇨병(MODY1)과 관련이 있습니다. HNF4는 DNA에 homodimer 형태로 결합하며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 HNF4α1부터 HNF4α9까지 최대 9개의 이소폼을 생성할 수 있습니다.
