Product Specific Information

  • In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) SREC-II is observed.
  • Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
  • Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

Target Information

The SCARF1 protein is a scavenger receptor expressed in endothelial cells, mediating the binding and degradation of acetylated low-density lipoprotein (Ac-LDL).
Transcription factors ZNF444/EZF-2 and SP1 regulate its expression.
Five alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
