• In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) ILT4 and rhILT5 is observed, and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human ILT2 is observed.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

This gene is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family, located at chromosomal region 19q13.4. The encoded protein belongs to the subfamily B class of LIR receptors, containing two or four extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and two to four cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs).
The receptor is expressed on immune cells, binds to MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells, and transduces a negative signal that inhibits immune response stimulation. It may also function in antigen capture and presentation. This receptor helps regulate inflammatory responses and cytotoxicity to limit autoreactivity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
