Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages include:

  • Superior specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulations
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to the large rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

Cyclin E belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, characterized by periodic changes in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins regulate CDK kinases and exhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns that coordinate mitotic events.
Cyclin E forms a complex with CDK2, required for G1/S transition. The protein accumulates at the G1-S boundary and is degraded during S phase. Overexpression has been linked to tumorigenesis due to chromosome instability.
Cyclin E also associates with NPAT, involved in histone gene expression and cell-cycle progression in the absence of pRB. Multiple splice variants exist, with some lacking detailed sequence information.
