Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The MRP1 gene encodes a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. ABC transporters move various molecules across cellular membranes and are divided into seven subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White).
MRP1 functions as a multispecific organic anion transporter, with substrates such as oxidized glutathione, cysteinyl leukotrienes, and activated aflatoxin B1. It also transports glucuronides and sulfate conjugates of steroid hormones and bile salts. Alternative splicing results in several variants maintaining the same open reading frame.
