Target Information
RAP80은 아연-핑거 구조를 가진 핵 단백질로, 고환에서 높게 발현되며 retinoid-related testis-associated receptor (RTR)과 상호작용합니다. 이후 연구에서 RAP80은 Coiled-coil domain 98 (CCDC98) 단백질에 의해 BRCA1 단백질로 모집되어, 방사선에 의한 DNA 손상 반응 시 BRCA1 focus 형성을 유도함이 밝혀졌습니다. RAP80과 CCDC98은 DNA 손상 저항성, G2-M 체크포인트 조절, DNA 수선에 필수적입니다. 이 단백질이 결핍된 세포는 BRCA1 결핍 세포보다 덜하지만 방사선에 대한 민감성이 증가합니다. RAP80은 최소 4가지 isoform이 존재합니다.
