Product Specific Information

The goat anti-rat IgG polyclonal antibody reacts with both heavy and light chains of rat IgG, showing minimal cross-reactivity with human, mouse, bovine, goat, hamster, and rabbit serum proteins. It recognizes all rat IgG subclasses (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c) and shows some cross-reactivity to rat IgM.

This antibody is a F(ab`)2 fragment containing two Fab domains linked through the hinge region, with the Fc region removed to minimize Fc-mediated binding.

Validated as a secondary reagent for detecting cells stained with rat IgG primary antibodies. Tested for flow cytometry using mouse splenocytes, recommended ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimal titration is advised.
