Product Specific Information
This P365D recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD365, also known as Tim-1, Kim-1, or Havcr1.
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of 769P cells. Use at 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount of antibody that stains a cell sample in 100 µL final volume. Cell number may vary from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test. Antibody should be titrated for optimal performance.

Target Information
CD365 (T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 1, Tim-1) is a type I surface glycoprotein with an extracellular N-terminal immunoglobulin V-like domain, mucin domain, and short cytoplasmic tail.
Its endogenous ligand is Tim-4. CD365 acts as a receptor or co-receptor for several viruses including hepatitis A, hepatitis C, Ebola, Marburg, Dengue, Zika, West Nile, and Japanese encephalitis viruses via phosphatidylserine binding.
Polymorphisms in the HAVCR1 gene are linked to infection susceptibility and disease severity. CD365 is involved in T cell co-stimulation and is primarily expressed in epithelial cells, notably in A549, 769-P, and Caco-2 cell lines. A soluble form also exists due to metalloproteinase-mediated cleavage.
