For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SIGLEC7 is a putative adhesion molecule mediating sialic acid-dependent binding to cells. It preferentially binds to alpha-2,3- and alpha-2,6-linked sialic acids, as well as disialogangliosides.
The sialic acid recognition site may be masked by cis interactions on the same cell surface. In immune responses, SIGLEC7 may act as an inhibitory receptor, recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatases that block signal transduction through dephosphorylation.
It mediates inhibition of natural killer cell cytotoxicity and may play a role in hemopoiesis by inhibiting differentiation of CD34+ precursors and proliferation of leukemic myeloid cells in vitro.
