Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 50 µL or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
After reconstitution, store at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

MC5R (Melanocortin 5 Receptor) mediates the effects of melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), activating adenylate cyclase.
This receptor regulates thermoregulation, immunomodulation, appetite control, and sexual behavior.
MC5R is expressed in various tissues, including pituitary, exocrine glands, reproductive organs, lung, kidney, and esophagus.
