Reconstitute with 50–100 µL of distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1 M PBS containing 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide.

Target Information

NOS (Nitric Oxide Synthase) activity requires homodimerization as well as three cosubstrates (L-arginine, NADPH, and O₂) and five cofactors or prosthetic groups (FAD, FMN, calmodulin, tetrahydrobiopterin, and heme).
Several distinct NOS isoforms have been described, representing the products of three distinct genes:

• NOS1 (nNOS, ncNOS): Neuronal form, first identified in neurons
• NOS3 (eNOS, ecNOS): Endothelial form, first identified in endothelial cells
