Product Specific Information
The 93 monoclonal antibody reacts with an epitope shared by mouse CD16 and CD32.
CD16 (Fc gamma III Receptor) and CD32 (Fc gamma II Receptor) are low-affinity receptors for the mouse IgG Fc portion and are expressed by B cells, monocyte/macrophages, NK cells, and neutrophils.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes.
Recommended usage ≤ 0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Careful titration recommended for optimal performance.

Target Information
CD16 is a 50–65 kDa cell surface molecule existing in two forms:
- Transmembranous form (NK cells, some T cells)
- Phosphatidylinositol-linked form (granulocytes)
CD16 acts as a low-affinity receptor for IgG (FcR III) and mediates ADCC (antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity) by NK cells.
CD32 is a 40 kDa glycoprotein functioning as a low-affinity receptor for IgG (Fc gamma RII).
It mediates endocytosis, secretion activation, cytotoxicity, and immunomodulation.
Expressed by B cells, monocytes, granulocytes, and platelets.
Involved in immune complex phagocytosis and regulation of antibody production.
Genetic variations of CD32 may increase susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms of CD32 have been identified.
