Product Specific Information

The C363.16A monoclonal antibody reacts with the exon B-dependent isoform of mouse CD45. This isoform is expressed by thymocytes, peripheral B cells, and a subset of T cells at high density, and by dendritic cells and macrophages at low density. CD45 is a protein tyrosine phosphatase that plays a key role in leukocyte signal transduction.

Target Information

CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase and a CD45 glycoprotein isoform. It is crucial in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and promoting cell survival via integrin-mediated pathways. CD45 isoforms share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains but differ in extracellular regions and expression patterns depending on cell type and physiological state. CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells and is involved in apoptosis-related DNA fragmentation.
