Target Information
ITK is a tyrosine kinase expressed in T-cells containing SH2 and SH3 domains. It plays a role in T-cell proliferation and differentiation. The Tec family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases includes Tec, Itk (Emt/Tsk), Btk, Bmx, Txk (Rlk), and Dsrc28C. All members possess SH3 and SH2 domains; except Txk and Dsrc28C, they also have PH and TH domains at their amino termini. ITK associates with CD28 and is activated following CD28 ligation.
