For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The F131C gene encodes a member of the superoxide dismutase (SOD) protein family, which catalyzes the conversion of superoxide radicals into hydrogen peroxide and oxygen, protecting tissues from oxidative stress.
Proteolytic processing produces two distinct homotetramers:

• Type C subunit: High affinity for heparin, anchored to the extracellular matrix (ECM)
• Type A subunit: Low affinity for heparin, does not interact with ECM
  Mutations in this gene may be associated with increased heart disease risk.
