염소는 혈청 또는 혈장 유래의 정제된 Human Transferrin으로 면역되었습니다. 항체는 항원을 아가로스 비드에 결합시켜 친화 크로마토그래피로 분리되었습니다. 항체 농도는 280 nm에서의 흡광도(1.4 = 1.0 mg IgG)를 기준으로 결정되었습니다.
Target Information
Transferrin(Tf)은 약 80 kDa의 혈장 당단백질로, 간에서 합성되며 철(Fe³⁺)을 결합하여 운반하는 역할을 합니다. 이 단백질은 철의 흡수, 저장 및 이용 부위 간의 수송을 담당하며, 정상 조건에서 전체 Transferrin의 약 1/3이 철을 결합하고 있습니다. 혈중 Transferrin 농도는 철 대사 이상(빈혈, 철 과다, 혈색소증 등)의 지표로 사용될 수 있습니다. 또한 세포 증식을 자극하는 역할도 보고되었습니다.
