Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Thromboxane synthase (TBXAS1) encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. These proteins are monooxygenases that catalyze reactions involved in drug metabolism and lipid synthesis.
This endoplasmic reticulum membrane protein converts prostaglandin H2 to thromboxane A2, a potent vasoconstrictor and platelet aggregation inducer.
It plays roles in hemostasis, cardiovascular disease, and stroke.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
