Product Specific Information

The monoclonal rat IgG2a is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
This eBR2a antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
It has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells and mouse splenocytes.
Use the isotype control at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

eFluor® 506 can be excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 506 nm.
Recommended filter: 510/20 band pass filter or equivalent.
Ensure that the instrument can detect this fluorochrome.

Target Information

Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass commonly used in research and diagnostics.
It is produced by the rat immune system, capable of activating complement and mediating ADCC.
Molecular weight: approximately 160 kDa (two heavy chains and two light chains).
Used as a control or reference antibody in rat-based experiments, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry.
