These antibodies recognize multiple epitopes on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance proteins while maintaining reproducibility across lots. The recombinant production process eliminates biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody generation.

Target Information

MAP2K3 (MEK3) is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in cellular signal transduction pathways and required for glucose transporter expression. It phosphorylates and activates MAPK14/p38-MAPK.

This kinase can be activated by insulin and is associated with oncogenic transformation when RAS is expressed. Inhibition of MEK3 is implicated in the pathogenesis of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
