Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Transcriptional control is regulated by interactions between DNA-bound transcription factors (e.g., Egr-1/NGFI-A) and coregulatory proteins such as NAB (NGFI-A-binding proteins). NAB1 and NAB2 act as corepressors of EGF-1/NGFI-A.
- NAB2 contains NCD1 (NAB conserved domain 1) for NGFI-A binding and NCD2 for repressor function.
- Primarily localized in the nucleus.
- Involved in regulation of NGFI-A activity, cell division, differentiation, and apoptosis.
- Predicted molecular mass: 56 kDa
- Chromosomal localization: 12q13.3–14.1, a region rearranged in several solid tumors, lipomas, and liposarcomas.
