Target Information
Spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK), together with ZAP70, is a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase involved in immune signaling pathways. SYK plays a key role in B cell receptor (BCR) and high-affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI) signaling, leading to phosphorylation of adaptor proteins and activation of downstream pathways such as calcium mobilization, cytoskeleton remodeling, and gene transcription.
SYK is considered a potential drug target for allergic disorders, autoimmune diseases, and certain cancers.
