BLAST analysis suggests reactivity with beta actin from a wide range of organisms, including most vertebrates and some yeast.

Target Information
Beta actin is one of six actin isoforms identified in humans. It is a non-muscle cytoskeletal protein present in all human cell types and is involved in cell motility, structure, and integrity.
Beta and gamma actins coexist in most cell types as cytoskeletal components.
Polymerization of globular actin (G-actin) forms filamentous actin (F-actin) with a double-helical structure.
Because beta actin is ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells, it is widely used as a loading control in protein detection assays such as Western blotting.
Antibodies to beta actin are valuable tools for studying intracellular distribution and cytoskeletal dynamics.
