Product Specific Information
Store vial at 4°C prior to reconstitution. For extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge if not clear after standing at room temperature. Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid. Dilute only immediately before use.
This affinity-purified antibody is directed against the HA motif and detects overexpressed proteins containing the HA epitope tag. It has shown reactivity with all HA-tagged proteins tested to date and does not cross-react with endogenous bacterial proteins. Immunoelectrophoresis shows a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin and anti-rabbit serum.
Target Information
HA Tag (hemagglutinin tag) is an epitope tag used to localize gene products, study protein topology and complexes, identify interacting proteins, and characterize low-abundance or poorly immunogenic proteins. Derived from influenza hemagglutinin, the HA tag aids in detection and purification of tagged proteins for functional analysis. HA tag antibodies facilitate protein detection and co-immunoprecipitation of tagged proteins.
