Product Specific Information

The FR70 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD70, a 30–33 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein. CD70 belongs to the TNF family and is expressed by activated mouse T and B lymphocytes. Interaction of CD70 with CD27, its ligand on T cells, is important in T–B cell crosstalk and plays a role in costimulation and immune regulation.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of stimulated mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titrate for optimal performance.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. It serves as a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27 and is expressed on activated, but not resting, T and B lymphocytes. It promotes proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances cytolytic T cell generation, and contributes to T cell activation. It also plays roles in B-cell activation, NK cell cytotoxic function, and immunoglobulin synthesis.
