Target Information
APLNR (Apelin Receptor)는 G 단백질 결합 수용체 유전자 패밀리에 속합니다. 이 단백질은 angiotensin 수용체와 유사하지만 실제로는 apelin 수용체로서 adenylate cyclase 활성을 억제하며, angiotensin II의 혈압 상승 작용에 대한 역조절 역할을 합니다.
또한 심혈관계, 중추신경계, 포도당 대사, 배아 및 종양 혈관신생, HIV-1 코리셉터 기능에도 관여합니다.
대체 스플라이싱으로 인한 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
