PA1-9593 detects Phospho-JNK/SAPK in human, mouse, and rat samples.
It has been successfully used in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry procedures.
By Western blot, PA1-9593 detects 46 kDa and 54 kDa proteins representing Phospho-JNK/SAPK.
The immunogen is a phosphorylated peptide (pT183-P-pY185) based on human JNK.

Target Information

C-Jun N-terminal Kinase (JNK), also known as Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK8), belongs to the MAPK superfamily of stress-activated protein kinases.
MAPKs are serine-threonine protein kinases activated by various extracellular stimuli, mediating signal transduction from the cell surface to the nucleus.
JNK plays roles in proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development.
JNK pathways are activated by stress and inflammatory signals.
JNK is expressed as ten isoforms due to differential mRNA splicing, with JNK1 and JNK2 being predominant.
