Product Specific Information

• Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water.
• After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4°C in the dark.
• For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
• Mouse anti-Human HLA DP/DQ/DR antibody (clone WR18) reacts with a monomorphic determinant common to DP, DQ, and DR beta chains, expressed by antigen-presenting cells, B cells, monocytes, and activated T lymphocytes.

Target Information

MHC class II molecules are transmembrane glycoproteins composed of an alpha chain (36 kDa) and a beta chain (27 kDa). They are expressed primarily on antigen-presenting cells such as B lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, thymic epithelial cells, and activated T lymphocytes.
Three loci—DR, DQ, and DP—encode the major expressed products of the human class II region. Human MHC class II molecules bind intracellularly processed peptides and present them to T-helper cells, playing a critical role in immune response initiation.

HLA and MHC antibodies are essential in Immunopeptidomics, aiding in the identification and characterization of neoantigens via high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry.
