• Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

TRPV4 (Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily V Member 4) is a cation-selective channel activated in response to systemic osmotic pressure. It is a non-selective calcium-permeant cation channel involved in osmotic and mechanical sensitivity.
TRPV4 belongs to the OSM9-like transient receptor potential channel (OTRPC) subfamily within the TRP superfamily of ion channels.
Mutations in the TRPV4 gene are associated with spondylometaphyseal and metatropic dysplasia, as well as hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy type IIC.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
