• Reconstitution: Add 50 µL double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
• Ships as lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

TRPV3 belongs to a family of nonselective cation channels involved in processes such as temperature sensation and vasoregulation. Thermosensitive TRP family members are expressed in subsets of sensory neurons terminating in the skin and are activated at distinct physiological temperatures. TRPV3 is activated between 22°C and 40°C. The TRPV3 gene is located near the TRPV1 gene on chromosome 17, and the encoded proteins may form heteromeric channels.
